We were raised in Portsmouth, spent 20 years in the Army and now transplants from Northern Virginia to Skippers. Earlier this year, we went to Rosemont Winery to taste and purchase wines for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Out of the 5 or 6 wines purchased, the Traminette was the favorite of the ladies with the LaCrosse a close 2nd. The favorite for the men was the Cabernet Sauvignon. I've been to the winery several times since it opened and each time has been a very pleasant experience. Of all the wines I've had there the cab-franc is my favorite by far.
