We will be open over the Memorial Day weekend and just wanted to make sure that everyone had our hours of operation:

Friday - 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Saturday - 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
We'll have the Klaxton Brown band live at the Winery Saturday evening, starting at 5:00pm, so plan to join us on the lawn of Rosemont with your blankets and lawn chairs. Chef David will also have a food tent set up so come hungry!
$10 cover charge - $5 for club members.

Cinco de Vino!

Saturday, May 5th, 11:00am - 4:00pm

Plan to join us on the lawn of Rosemont this Saturday to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with our own "Cinco de Vino!" We're bringing back the sangria and we'll have a wide variety of other flavors to try as well. There will be food available for purchase, so come and make a day out of it! We'll also be releasing our brand new 2011 Rose' this weekend.

Rosemont Wines Certified In New CQA Program

We are happy to announce that the first wines that we have submitted to Virginia's newly established Commonwealth Quality Alliance, or CQA, program have passed! In December we submitted four of our wines: 2009 Syrah, 2009 Merlot, 2009 Cabernet Franc and 2009 Kilravock to be tested, and we received a passing grade in the CQA program.

We are really excited about this program and we hope that you'll soon be discovering other great quality wines across the state as this program grows! For more information on what it takes to have a wine qualify for the CQA, please read below.

The Commonwealth Quality Alliance (CQA) is a quality standards initiative in the state of the Virginia that works to reward and promote Virginia-grown wines. CQA wines are quality wines that are not only local to the state of Virginia, but also assure the consumer is getting a sound well-made wine. When you see a wine with a CQA logo, you can ensure that the wines:

Are 100% grown, produced and bottled in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Have passed a rigorous chemical analysis
Have passed a sensory panel evaluation performed by an independent third party

Traminette 2010

Our Traminette has quickly become one of the cornerstone wines here at Rosemont. We like to keep our Traminette dry, giving it a crisp finish with linalool (Gewurztraminer floral notes) and a touch of spiciness, citrus and honey undertones. This is a great wine to pair with spicy foods such as Thai, sushi or a light summer salad.

Chardonnay 2010

New Release!

Our 2010 Chardonnay is a lively representation of a crisp, Chablis style Chardonnay. It's very bright and crisp with aromas of honeydew, orange blossom and grapefruit, with a light body and hints of minerality. We aged 80% of the Chardonnay in stainless steel and the other 20% in neutral oak for 6 months.

Pairings: Any shellfish, fish or melon. We particularly love it with Cioppino!
