The Tasting Room at Rosemont Vineyards is open daily for wine tastings and tours, all year round!

Monday – Saturday 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Tasting Fees $10.00 per person
Wine Tastings include a sample of all of our current vintages being offered in the Tasting Room, all of which are 100% estate grown, produced and bottled! You’ll also receive one of our Rosemont souvenir glasses to commemorate your visit. Please note that the last tasting of the day will start 30 minutes prior to closing.

Tours of our production area and barrel room are complimentary and are offered on an as-needed basis, with no reservations required. We also invite you to tour our gift shop and art gallery, both featuring local artisans and craftsmen!
Group Tastings & Tours
One of our goals here at Rosemont is to offer the best possible experience during your visit with us. For groups of 8 or more, we offer a special group tour and tasting opportunity to ensure that you get the time and attention that you deserve! Reservations are required, and for $15 per person you will receive a reserved table, private tasting of all our current releases, a souvenir glass, private tour, and a dedicated staff member over a two hour period. Reservations must be made at least one week prior to your requested date and all tastings must be prepaid. To make your reservation, please call Rick Newnham, our Tasting Room Manager, at 434-636-9463. Cancellations must made at least 48 hours prior to your arrival for a full refund.
If your group exceeds 16 guests, we ask that you contact Kyndal Eggleston, our events manager, to reserve our Meeting Room for your special event.

- Take I-95 south to Petersburg and get on I-85 south
- At Exit 4 turn left onto Highway 903 for 7.5 miles
- Turn left onto Blackridge Rd. approx. 1 mile
- Rosemont Winery will be on the right
From Raleigh, NC
- Take I-85 north to Virginia Exit 4 at Bracey
- Turn right on Highway 903 for 7.5 miles
- Turn left onto Blackridge Rd. and go approx. 1 mile
- Rosemont Winery will be on the right
From Lake Gaston/Eaton’s Ferry
- Take Hwy 903 North across Eaton’s Ferry
- Keep left to stay on Hwy 903, for 10 miles, into Virginina
- Turn right onto Blackridge Road
- Rosemont is one mile on the right
From Highway 58
- Turn onto Regional Airport Road between LaCrosse and Brodnax
- Go 2.5 miles and turn left onto Blackridge Road for about 6 miles
- Rosemont Winery is on your left
Rosemont is located just near the Virginia and North Carolina border, right beside beautiful Lake Gaston, conveniently situated directly between Richmond, VA and Raleigh, NC. Whether you are looking to spend a day, a weekend or even a week in the area, there are a ton of activities in our vicinity!
Rosemont is located just 1 ½ miles away from beautiful Lake Gaston, which boasts of over 350 miles of shoreline between the counties of Mecklenburg and Brunswick in Virginia and Warren, Halifax and Northampton in North Carolina.
For the boating enthusiast, motor boating, sailing, tubing, water skiing, wakeboarding and jet skiing are all popular Lake Gaston water sports. Public boat ramps are available, and marinas are scattered around the shoreline, offering gas and supplies as well as lakeside dining.
Good restaurants, shopping, and cultural activities can be enjoyed year round in the cities and towns around the area. For offshore recreation there are golf courses, both public and private in close proximity. Many houses around Lake Gaston are available to rent, either for the weekend or for an entire week, or if you prefer, there are many camping options as well.
Rosemont is located in Mecklenburg County, a place where we’re sure you will be able to find activities for everyone in the family to enjoy during your time spent here.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Mecklenburg has over 1,200 miles of shoreline and 70,000+ acres of water across three lakes, over 600 campsites, many of which are lakeside, and 17 different Wildlife Management Areas!
For those looking for history, heritage and culture then you won’t want to miss Prestwould, a beautiful plantation home in Clarksville, MacCallum More Gardens and Museum in Chase City, the best Tobacco Heritage Museum in the state, located in South Hill, or any of the many local history museums throughout the County.
And for those looking to shop, Mecklenburg has great antiquing, thriftiquing, and quaint gift shops spread across four unique and historic downtowns.
