Wine & Chocolate Pairings

February is all about the LOVE, and over the years we have found that our customers LOVE the wine and chocolate pairings that we offer for Valentine’s Day.  This year we’ve decided to not only offer our pairings all month long, but we are also shipping them!

If you’ve ordered one of our Dry or Sweet Wine Chocolate Pairings, we’ve created the videos below where Justin and Aubrey will walk you through each wine and why they’ve chosen each chocolate.  We hope you enjoy the pairings as much as we did when we put them together!

Now Taking Reservations!

We are happy to announce that you can now make a reservation to schedule your visit to the Winery!  Reservations are not required, however, they are highly recommended.  Each reservation slot is for 1 hour and 45 minutes, which will allow you and your guests time to experience wine flights and enjoy a glass of wine and picnic with us.  You’ll be able to choose your location, date, and time when you’d like to visit.

As the days get cooler, making a reservation will help to ensure that you’ll be guaranteed a table upon your arrival at the Winery.  And, making a reservation is easy!

If you have more than 8 guests in your group, please call the winery directly to make special arrangements!

Please note:

  1. If you make a reservation for an outdoor table, we may not be able to accommodate a move to an indoor table in the case of inclement weather.
  2. We cannot accept same-day reservations through our online portal.  Please call us at 434-636-9463 to see what we have available.
  3. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, your reservation will be canceled and your table may be given to someone else.


Now Operating Under Phase III Guidelines

We are now operating under Phase III of the Governor’s Reopen Virginia plan.  Many of the guidelines that applied during Phase II remain, so there will not be much of a change if you visited us during Phase II.  Here are the main things to know, before you arrive:


  • The Governor has issued an Executive Order mandating the use of masks while inside the Winery.  Please ensure that you bring your mask with you and wear it when you are away from your table.  Once seated at your table, you are free to remove your mask.


  • We are no longer taking reservations.  Please be aware that we are now limited to 50% of our indoor capacity, and when it rains, it may be difficult to find a seat.  If you have a group of 8 or more, PLEASE, give us a call ahead of time and we will try to reserve you a table if possible.


  • When you arrive, you will need to check-in with a staff member inside the Winery.  They will seat you at a table, which will serve as your designated space during your time with us.  We ask that you do NOT visit with guests at other tables, and refrain from wandering around the property.  If you have children or pets with you, please understand that they will not be allowed to run around the lawn or winery and must remain with you at all times.


  • We will be offering a variety of tasting flights, wines by the glass, and bottles of wine to be consumed onsite.  As always, our staff can recork any unfinished bottles so that you may take them with you.  We will not be offering traditional wine tastings.  Club Members, who normally would receive four free tastings per visit, will receive two complimentary flights per visit.


  • We are currently unable to offer tours of the Production area inside the Winery.


  • We are now selling our prepackaged meats, cheeses, crackers, and baguettes.   As before, you can select these items from our Pantry at your convenience to enjoy at your table.  Plates, knives, cutting boards, etc are located in the Sun Room for your use.


  • The safety of our guests and employees is of the utmost importance to us.  We ask that if you or anyone in your group are sick or have felt sick in the last 72 hours that you please visit us at a later date. Customers who appear to have symptoms associated with COVID will be asked to leave immediately.


  • We will still be offering curbside pickups and free ground shipping on orders over $100.


Again, we are so excited to welcome your smiling faces back to the winery and hopefully, we can all work together to ensure that we are able to enjoy reopening in a safe environment.

Weekly Wine & Oyster Pick Up

We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Rappahannock River Oyster Co. to bring you fresh oysters, clams, and sauces, available for pick up from the Winery over each week throughout the summer!
We have put together some wonderful packages that include our wines and ROC’s oysters, but we also have individual bags of oysters, clams, and other items available through our online store as well.  All orders MUST be placed in advance.  Unfortunately, we do not have enough inventory on hand to fulfill same-day orders.
Club Members: BONUS!  Sign in to your account online to receive a 10% discount on your oyster/clam purchases.
All orders MUST be placed by 6:00 PM on Tuesday for the week in which you would like to pick up your oysters.  All orders must be picked up from the Winery and pickups can be made on that Friday or Saturday during regular business hours.  Here is our schedule for the month of July:

Order by Tuesday, July 7th and pick up on Friday, July 10th or Saturday, July 11th
No Orders for the week of July 13th
