DESCRIPTION:Come help us celebrate the end of another successful harvest season!  It’s a day to kick back\, relax\, and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather and bounty of the vineyard. \nThere is no fee to attend – only a $15 tasting fee to enjoy wine for the day – Rosemont souvenir glass is included!  So bring the entire family and make a great afternoon of celebrating the end of harvest.  Here are just some of the activities that we’ll have available: \n\nGrape Stomp Competition @ 2:00 PM\nCome by early and sign up for the Grape Stomp Competition!  It is open to everyone\, so enter your name into the drawing for a chance to participate!  Put your name in at 11:00 AM and we will draw names starting at 2:00 pm.  Participating contestants will have the chance to win great prizes!\n\n\nLive Music Starting @ 1:00 PM \nHarmony Holler\, out of Farmville\, VA\, will be joining us for the day!  They are a dynamic\, high-energy band blending country grit\, rock edge\, and soulful storytelling into a live show that captivates audiences of all kinds! \n\nFood for Everyone All Day Long\n\n\nWe’ll be joined by Roll With It\, Beer Fed Beef\, and Jenny Cakes at The Lake who will be serving their fun take on egg rolls\, delicious burgers\, and handmade pastries (respectively) all day!\n\nActivities for the Entire Family!\nWe offer a variety of activities that the whole family can participate in – pumpkin painting and we’ll even have a great setup for a family photo opportunity\, so be sure to bring your camera!

Not a problem – bring your best and prepare for a festive evening celebrating our signature red blend! \nThis year we are looking forward to pairing our 2022 Kilravock with an amazing meal curated by 313 Franklin. DESCRIPTION:Come help us celebrate the end of another successful harvest season!  It’s a day to kick back\, relax\, and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather and bounty of the vineyard. \nThere is no fee to attend – only a $15 tasting fee to enjoy wine for the day – Rosemont souvenir glass is included!  So bring the entire family and make a great afternoon of celebrating the end of harvest.  Here are just some of the activities that we’ll have available: \n\nGrape Stomp Competition @ 2:00 PM\nCome by early and sign up for the Grape Stomp Competition!  It is open to everyone so enter your name into the drawing for a chance to participate!  Put your name in at 11:00 AM and we will draw names starting at 2:00 pm.  Participating contestants will have the chance to win three great prizes!\n\nLive Music Starting @ 1:00 PM\nwith the West Street Band\n\n\nFood for Everyone All Day Long\nCooper’s Landing Inn and Traveler’s Tavern and A Taste of Texas will be here as well serving up their delicious food that many of you may be familiar with.  There are sure to be plenty of options available for everyone!\n\nActivities for the Entire Family!\nWe offer a variety of activities that the whole family can participate in – pumpkin painting and we’ll even have a great setup for a family photo opportunity\, so be sure to bring your camera!

DESCRIPTION:Make plans to join us on Saturday\, June 15th\, for the 14th Annual Rosemont Wine & Art Festival!\n\nThis is our biggest event of the year\, highlighting over 30 fine artists and exhibitors\, and adding new talent year after year.  You’ll find art in all mediums\, including paintings\, pottery\, metal\, jewelry\, woodworking\, and more. \n\n\nGregory’s Grill and The Salty Cactus will be on-site serving their amazing food and Little Red Birds and Acoustic Edge will be playing throughout the day! \nThis event is free to attend\, just a $15 tasting fee if you want to drink wine on-site; which includes a tasting and a signature glass! \n\n  \nFeatured Artists for This Year Include:\n  \n \nGranite Creations – Dave Almond – Virginia Beach\, VA – New Artist!  \nGranite Pieces \nGranite Creations has been in business since 2015 and has gained a strong following throughout Virginia\, North Carolina\, and Pennsylvania.  They take recycled granite pieces and turn them into lazy susans\, cheese boards\, and trivets! \n  \n  \nBirdie’s Pimento Cheese – South Hill\, VA \nPimento Cheese \nBirdie’s Pimento Cheese is a marvelous blend of sharp cheddar cheese\, mayonnaise\, pimento\, and spice creating an approachable cheese spread/dip that easily pairs with crackers\, chips\, or a bottle of wine. \n  \n  \nBaskets by Jeannie B – Jeannie Blackwell – Washington\, NC \nHandwoven Baskets \nJeannie is a self-taught retiree who has been sewing for more than 60 years.  She loves the creativity of designing and meeting people through her art. \n  \n  \nDavid Bruce Studio – David Bruce – Delaware Water Gap – PA – New Artist!\nPottery \nDavid was born and raised in South Hill\, VA and spent most of his youth swimming in Lake Gaston and enjoying pies from JB Jones. \n  \n  \nCeltic Pottery – Browns Summit\, NC\nPottery \nTimothy Moran retired after triple-bypass surgery and earned a master potter certification in North Carolina.  He creates one-of-a-kind\, wheel-thrown\, porcelain pottery with crystalline glaze. \n  \n  \nLiteEmUp Bottles – Marlene Barbera – Raleigh\, NC\nHydro-Dipped Glass Bottles \nLiteEmUp Bottles started in 2017 and continues to grow and create new products!  They love the sustainable aspect of using recycled bottles.  Reduce\, reuse\, and recycle! \n  \n  \nDexter Covington – Mebane\, NC\nLawn Sculptures \nDexter uses recycled sheet steel and hand-cuts each piece to then weld it together with a wire welder.  He has been creating metal art since 1972\, works alone and all designs are his own original designs.  What he enjoys most about his work is constantly creating new designs and ideas. \n   \n  \nBob Dobson – Henrico\, NC \nWood Turning \nBob is a retired USMC Colonel.  He enjoys golfing\, fishing\, reading\, traveling\, and cooking and has been turning wood for six years. \n  \nJayme Doerhoff – Bracey\, VA\nPottery  \nJayme is a locally taught potter who handmakes pottery\, platters\, bowls\, cups\, and candles.  Recently\, she began making aluminum fire ant sculptures which are made by pouring melted aluminum into ant colonies. \n  \n  \nThe Clarksville Weaver – Randie Felts – Clarksville\, VA\nHandwoven Fiber Arts \nRandie has been weaving for more than 15 years and she loves every step; from the threading of the loom to assembling the final product. \n  \n  \nMam Jam’s Candle Company – Tracy Foster – Rice\, VA\nHandmade Candles \nMam Jam’s Candles is a small\, family-run business that grew out of Tracy’s love of all things fragrant!  She began making candles in 2015 after becoming an empty-nester and she is thankful to be able to live out her passion! \n  \n  \n  \nKarl Groeger – Bracey\, VA\nMetal Works \nKarl retired in March of 2021 and while looking for a retirement hobby tool a welding class at SSV Community College.  He now takes interesting-looking objects and turns them into functional décor! \n  \n  \nKarolyn Hawthorne – South Hill\, VA\nPaintings & Silver Jewelry \nKarolyn was born and raised in Miami\, FL\, where she developed a love for natural beauty early in life. She attended college at Virginia Tech and after graduation moved to Lawrenceville\, VA to pursue a teaching career. In 1996 she enrolled in an oil painting class at a Southside Virginia Community College\, and she was immediately hooked. Recently she has discovered that her greatest painting pleasure is painting animal portrait commissions\, however\, she also enjoys handcrafting fine silver jewelry as well. \n  \nPeggy Helms – Chesterfield\, VA\nAcrylic\, Pastel\, and Watercolor Paintings \nPeggy started painting and taking art lessons about 16 years ago.  She enjoys painting flowers\, nature\, and landscapes.  She participates in several art shows and does commission pieces as well! \n  \n  \n  \nWilloughby Hundley – Boydton\, VA \nAuthor \nDr. Willoughby Hundley is an emergency room physician who draws on his 35 years of experience as a county medical examiner to compose his fictitious mysteries set in Mecklenburg County.  A graduate of VCU medical school\, he lives with his wife in his hometown of Boydton\, VA. \n   \n  \n Janet Jackson – Raleigh\, NC\nJewelry \nJanet’s love of rocks morphed into a jewelry business!  She is retired and devotes her time to creating unique jewelry pieces.  There is no store – just a studio in her spare bedroom.  She creates hand-wired jewelry from her home in Raleigh\, NC! \n  \n  \nKindred Spirits Pottery – Brigitte Bombardier & Dale Willingham – Littleton\, NC\nPottery \nBrigitte and Dale are husband and wife\, studio potters\, handcrafting pottery on the wheel and hand-building.  They enjoy creating handmade\, functional\, one-of-a-kind pottery inspired by beautiful Lake Gaston. \n  \nTravis LeBlanc – LaCrosse\, VA \nHandcrafted Knives and Leatherworks \nTravis is a local bladesmith and leather worker who was born and raised in South Hill\, VA. \n  \n  \n Sarah Lee Studio – Sarah Forster – Raleigh\, NC \nResin & Acrylic Art \nSarah started her business in her walk-in closet in the Spring of 2020 but it has grown exponentially since!  She showcases in five retail locations and various art exhibits throughout the year.  She hopes her art will inspire a connection to the natural world and bring joy to your everyday life! \n  \n  \n  \nJohny Lyle’s Woodcrafts – Johny Lyle – Chesterfield\, VA – New Artist!Woodworking \nJohny grew up in McKenney\, VA and is retired from bridge construction.  He’s always loved the natural beauty of wood and working with his hands.  He got hooked on woodworking\, a self-taught hobby\, in 2016 when his niece requested a small table and the rest is history! \n  \n  \nCricket Glass Designs – Gary Orr – Valentines\, VA \nStained-Glass \nGary has 22 years of experience making and designing glass art in Tiffany Style but his art style varies widely to include abstract\, traditional\, and natural wildlife.  He teaches stained glass at Norton’s Art Studio in Henrico\, NC. \n  \n  \nNancy Panko – Fuquay Varina\, NC\nAuthor\n \nNancy is a retired pediatric nurse and is the author of two novels and several children’s books.  She is a frequent contributor to the Chicken Soup for the Soul books and several magazines. \n  \n  \nPeculiar Pantry – Beth Callis – South Hill\,  VA \nArtisian Pecans \nBeth has always loved making food-related gifts for family and friends.  After retiring\, she decided to build a business based on fun and connection! \n  \n  \nBuddy Pruden – Bracey\, VA – New Artist!\nWoodworking \nBuddy is a retired home builder in the Lake Gaston area and has been woodworking for several years.  He specializes in walking sticks and canes. \n  \n  \n  \nUnique Stained Glass – Madeline Ramsey – Alexandria\, VA Stained Glass\, Fused Glass Plates\, and Bowls \nMadeline has been making glass for over 40 years.  She loves all things glass and aims to make art and beauty accessible to all! \n  \n  \n  \nScrollsaw Chris – Chris Ruch – Ebony\, VA\nWood Scroll Saw Pieces \nChris Ruch retired to Lake Gaston with his wife Valerie in 2011 from New Jersey. DESCRIPTION:Come help us celebrate the end of another successful harvest season!  It’s a day to kick back\, relax\, and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather and bounty of the vineyard. \nThere is no fee to attend – only a $15 tasting fee to enjoy wine for the day – Rosemont souvenir glass is included!  So bring the entire family and make a great afternoon of celebrating the end of harvest.  Here are just some of the activities that we’ll have available: \n\nGrape Stomp Competition @ 2:00 PM\nCome by early and sign up for the Grape Stomp Competition!  It is open to everyone so enter your name into the drawing for a chance to participate!  Put your name in at 11:00 AM and we will draw names starting at 2:00 pm.  Participating contestants will have the chance to win three great prizes!\n\nLive Music Starting @ 1:00 PM\nwith the Robbie McMillian Band\n\n\nFood for Everyone All Day Long\nCooper’s Landing Inn and Traveler’s Tavern and The Cottage Barn will be here as well serving up their delicious food that many of you may be familiar with.  There are sure to be plenty of options available for everyone!\n\nActivities for the Entire Family!\nWe offer a variety of activities that the whole family can participate in – pumpkin painting and we’ll even have a great setup for a family photo opportunity\, so be sure to bring your camera!
