No one will disagree that 2020 was a difficult year, and the same is true for grape growing conditions that year. We lost about 40% of our crop due to a Mother’s Day freeze, so we had to get a bit creative in the cellar. We purchased fruit from some friends across the Commonwealth to supplement what we were able to harvest from our own vines, and alas a new wine was born!
We’d like to introduce you to Lake Shore Blues – named by one of our longtime Club Members! It has bright floral aromas that combine with apricots, banana bread, and peaches to create an extremely refreshing sweet wine. It will make you long for those warm days on the Lake.
Only 150 cases were produced of this wine, so get yours before it’s too late!
