Rosemont of Virginia Barrel Club

Here at Rosemont Vineyards, we pride ourselves on using traditional methods to craft the best wines possible from vintage to vintage.  Each year we purchase new French and American barrels to incorporate into our barrel program, generally for our red wine aging.  These barrels are one of our biggest annual investments, and they are integral to helping us create our award-winning wines.

What is the cost to participate?

Unlike our 1858 Wine Club, there is an upfront investment required to become a Rosemont of Virginia Barrel Club Member. For $1,400.00, plus applicable taxes, your membership will be good for four years and includes the benefits listed below.

How do I sign up?

We currently have a waiting list for our Barrel Club. If you are interested in adding your name to that list, please contact Aubrey at [email protected].

Membership benefits:

  • One case of Rosemont of Virginia wines per year during the four years of your membership.  A case consists of 12 bottles and may contain any combination of wines.  There may be limitations placed on any wines designated as “Limited Production”.
  • Complimentary wine tastings or flights for Rosemont Barrel Club Members and two guests during those four years when you visit the Winery (limit one per guest per visit).
  • Free admission for two to any concerts and festivals sponsored solely by Rosemont Vineyards and held on its premises.
  • 15% discount on all wine purchased from Rosemont Vineyards.
  • 15% off of all Rosemont Vineyards branded items.
  • Two Barrel Tastings with our Winemaker for up to eight people. Tastings should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance, depending on the Winemaker’s schedule.  Tastings will not be held during our harvest season, August through October.
  • Your sponsored barrel at the completion of your membership with a handsome plaque engraved with your name.
  • Access to new releases, limited production, and Wine Club Exclusive wines.

Kyndal Eggleston

Special Events & 1858 Wine Club Manager

Kyndal Eggleston grew up 30 minutes west of Rosemont in the town of Boydton, the county seat of Mecklenburg County.  After two years at Virginia Tech, she transferred to Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina to complete her undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Resort Tourism.

After graduating, she stayed in Myrtle Beach, SC, and did marketing, promotions, and bartended at a large nightclub, as well as worked in guest services at different hotels.  She initially worked as Rosemont’s Tasting Room Manager and Private Events Coordinator before leaving for the Cayman Islands where she worked at a distillery.  In 2017, she moved back to Virginia to return as Rosemont’s Special Events and Wine Club Manager.

As much as Kyndal enjoys managing the logistics at Rosemont, she’s passionate about working for a family that prioritizes people.  “I love the Roses,” she says.  “They’re wonderful people who take care of us.”

Kyndal loves to travel in her free time.  She enjoys reading, the beach, and spending time with her Yorkie, Jack.
