16th Annual Wine & Art Festival

Make plans to join us for the 16th Annual Rosemont Wine & Art Festival!

This is our biggest event of the year, highlighting over 25 fine artists and exhibitors, adding new talent year after year.  You’ll find art of all mediums, including paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, woodworking, and more.

Gregory’s Grill and Beer Fed Beef will be on-site serving their amazing food and Adriel Genet and Little Red Birds will be playing throughout the day!

Granite Pieces

Granite Creations has been in business since 2015 and has gained a strong following throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and DC Area.  They take recycled granite pieces and turn them into Lazy Susans, cheese boards, and trivets!

 

Birdie’s Pimento Cheese – Robin Allen – South Hill, VA
Artisan Pimento Cheese

Birdie’s Pimento Cheese is a marvelous blend of sharp cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, pimento, and spices creating an approachable cheese spread/dip that easily pairs with crackers, chips, a vegetable tray, or a bottle of wine!

Jo is a self-taught artist who’s passion began at the age of 12.  They mostly paint nature; like sailboats, birds, trees, and hummingbirds but they love challenging themselves with new subjects like pets!

 

LiteEmUp Bottles – Marlene Barbera – Raleigh, NC
Reclaimed Glass

Marlene creates illuminated art from reclaimed glass.  By transforming recycled bottles with solar, battery, and USB lighting, she gives discarded glass a second life as functional, light-driven designs.

 

Dukie Barner – Henrico, NC
Mixed Media Art

Dukie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from VCU and was a middle and high school art teacher for 24 years.  She is currently an exhibiting artist in Rosemont Winery’s Art Gallery.  She is a member of the Halifax County Arts Council and was an art teacher for 22 years!

Steady Porch Farm is a specialty cut flower farm located outside of Chase City, VA.  They use regenerative farming practices to produce beautiful, fresh-cut flowers.

Beth has always loved making food-related gifts for family and friends.  Peculiar Pantry is a small batch producer of snack foods founded in 2022.

Karolyn was born and raised in Miami, FL, where she developed a love for natural beauty early in life. She attended college at Virginia Tech and, after graduation, moved to Lawrenceville, VA to pursue a teaching career. In 1996, she enrolled in an oil painting class at a Southside Virginia Community College, and she was immediately hooked. Recently she has discovered that her greatest painting pleasure is painting animal portrait commissions, however, she also enjoys handcrafting fine silver jewelry as well.

Dr. Willoughby Hundley is an emergency room physician who draws on his 35 years of experience as a county medical examiner to compose his fictitious mysteries set in Mecklenburg County.  A graduate of VCU medical school, he lives with his wife in his hometown of Boydton, VA.

Gary is a self-taught stained glass artist and has 24 years of making and designing glass art using the Tiffany Style.  His specialties include custom-designed Window Panels, Door Transoms, and Cabinet Doors.  You can also catch him teaching stained glass at Norton’s Art Studio in Henrico, NC, and Halifax Studios in Halifax, NC.
