Virginia Vines Wine Festival

Celebrate Virginia Wine Month with the Virginia Museum of History & Culture’s third annual Virginia Vines wine festival on Saturday, October 11th.
New This Year: VIP Access
VIP ticket holders will have access to an exclusive tasting in partnership with the Norton Network in celebration of Virginia’s native wine grape! From 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, VIP participants will be able to sample six Norton wines from wineries across Virginia and cast their vote for a People’s Choice Winner while a panel of professional judges evaluates the offerings.
All Tickets Include:
- Samples from participating wineries
- Commemorative tasting glass
- Access to live music and food concessions
- Uniquely curated educational experiences
- Demonstrations from Marshall Scheetz of Jamestown Cooperage
- Historic gardening experts from Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello
- Free after-hours access to the museum’s newest exhibition, GiveMe Liberty: Virginia & the Forging of a Nation.

Regular Ticket Pricing (September 26 – October 11 or when tickets sell out)
- VIP – $60
- VMHC Members – $40
- Non-Members – $45
- Designated Driver – $12
The event runs from 6:00 pm (VIP begins at 5:00 pm) to 9:00 pm. Attendees must be 21 or older, and all guests must have a ticket.
No coolers, pets, or outside food or drink are permitted. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
The event will take place rain or shine.
