We had an amazing time at the 2025 Virginia Governor’s Cup Gala last night in Richmond, raising a glass with so many industry friends and colleagues. It was an honor to pour our gold medal-winning 2022 Kilravock and taste so many outstanding wines.

We can’t wait to gather with so many friends and colleagues tomorrow night at the annual Virginia Governor’s Cup Gala in Richmond to celebrate the results of this year’s competition!

It’s always a special night, but this year feels even more meaningful as we get to pour and share the story of our Gold Medal winning 2022 Kilravock.

Named after the Scottish castle where the Rose family traces its ancestry, Kilravock is a bold reflection of each vintage year—made possible by the dedication of so many. The 2022 vintage was particularly special: the rain came when we needed it, stayed away when we didn’t, and the heat and sun exposure were just right. The fruit matured to levels reminiscent of outstanding vintages like 2010 and 2017—and we’ve been eagerly awaiting its release.

For those not attending the gala, you don’t have to wait! The 2022 Kilravock is now available in our Tasting Room by the bottle and for tasting.
