We are beyond excited to debut our FIRST EVER varietal Petit Verdot TODAY at our 15th Annual End of Harvest Celebration, the 2022 Teaghlach Series Petit Verdot! Sourced from our Block H and Block F estate vineyard sites and aged for 17 months in a combination of 38% new French oak and 62% once-used barrels, this small-batch @vawine showcases the exciting potential of Petit Verdot as a standalone varietal here in Southern Virginia.

While Petit Verdot has long played a strong supporting role in our signature red blends, this release gives it the spotlight it deserves, especially given the quality of the 2022 vintage. The Teaghlach Series Petit Verdot will be available for sale by the bottle exclusively for Members beginning this Saturday. Not a member? Don’t worry! You can still enjoy a tasting at the celebration and experience a piece of Rosemont history.

It’s the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of the vineyard while celebrating the fruits of our labor.

🍷 There’s no entry fee to attend—just a $15 tasting fee if you’d like to enjoy our wines for the day, complete with a Rosemont souvenir glass! So, gather the family, grab your lawn chairs, and get ready for a fun-filled afternoon with something for everyone.

Highlights of the Day:

🍇 Grape Stomp Competition @ 2:00 PM: Feeling competitive? Sign up for the Grape Stomp Competition! Drop your name in the hat starting at 11:00 AM, and we’ll draw contestants at 2:00 PM. Get your feet stomping and your chance to win one of three great prizes!

🎵 Live Music Starting @ 1:00 PM: The West Street Band will keep the tunes going, so get ready to tap your feet and dance the afternoon away.

😋 Delicious Food All Day Long: Cooper’s Landing Inn and Traveler’s Tavern, plus A Taste of Texas, will be serving up mouthwatering meals for all tastes. Come hungry!
