Calling All Artists!

The Rosemont Wine & Art Festival is back! The 13th Annual Rosemont Wine & Art Festival is scheduled to be held on the beautiful grounds of Rosemont Vineyards in La Crosse, Virginia, on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 from 11am – 5pm.
As many of you know, this is our biggest event every year! Our festival has been named the Best Festival in the Southern Region by Virginia WineLover Magazine!
We will be accepting applications for our one-day festival through March 13th. Applications will be accepted either via mail or electronically. Please be aware that this is a juried show, and once we receive your application we will be selecting artists for participation. You will receive a response from us by March 27th about participation in this year’s event.
Adopt-A-Vine at Rosemont Vineyards!

We are happy to announce that we are now offering our Adopt-A-Vine program again, for a new planting that will be happening this Spring! We are adding three acres of red grapes – Cabernet Franc and Merlot – and will once again offer our “Adopt-A-Vine” program.
Cabernet Franc is Virginia’s most widely planted grape, and for good reason! It enjoys our clay-based soils and warmer temperatures. Though you can find many different styles across the state, our Cabernet Franc tends to have a medium-to-big body with hints of black pepper and spice. We are also planting more Merlot, one of our favorite grapes to grow here at Rosemont! It consistently shines in the vineyard and the bottle and is used in many of our red wine blends.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about what goes into making wine. Adopting a row of vines will allow you to get in on the “ground level” and see just what is involved with establishing a vineyard!
Cost and Details
Adoption Cost: $400
To participate in this exciting and educational program, we are offering a one-time payment of $400.00 (this includes tax). In addition to a handsome plaque engraved with your name that will be displayed on your adopted row of vines for the next 40 to 50 years, you will also receive the following unique experience and benefits:
2023 | Planting: Join us on April 22nd or 23rd to plant some of the vines in your row!
2025 | Learn to Prune: Join us in February/March to prune and train your vine for the year ahead. Date TBD.
2026 | Harvest: Help harvest your grapes! Date TBD.
2026 | Harvest Party! We’ll host a large harvest party for a successful harvest. Date TBD.
2027 | Wine Tasting: Join us to taste the first wines made from your vines!
2028 | Receive your 1st bottle of wine produced from your grapes: 2026 vintage.
2029 | Receive your 2nd bottle of wine produced from your grapes: 2027 vintage.
2030 | Receive your 3rd bottle of wine produced from your grapes: 2028 vintage.
Of course, you can visit your adopted vines at any time to check on their progress and see how they’re growing. Talking to them helps encourage them to produce great fruit – we do it all the time!
If you are interested, please email Aubrey@rosemontofvirginia.com for an application, or give us a call here at the Winery, at 434-636-9463.
This has been a very successful program in the past. Rows sell out quickly, so if you are interested, please let us know as soon as possible! All rows will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
