Named after the year the Rose family acquired the farm where our vineyard and winery now stand, 1858 is a small-batch blend crafted each year to showcase the unique qualities of the vintage. As always, this exclusive wine is reserved for our loyal Club Members. Justin’s interpretation of a new-world style blend, 1858 boasts a full, robust body and a structure that will age beautifully over the next 10 years.
Varietals: 40% Petit Verdot (22% Clone 1058, 18% Clone 400), 35% Merlot (19% Clone 343, 16% Clone 181), and 25% Tannat Clone 474
Aging: Barrel Aged 16 Months in 20% New French Oak, 12% New American Oak, 33% Once Used Barrels, and 35% Neutral Barrels
