Graciano NV
This small-lot Graciano delights with aromas of chocolate-covered cherries, ripe purple plum, and a touch of licorice.
Back in 2017, we embarked on an exciting journey at our family estate in Southern Virginia, planting a test plot of new red varietals—Grenache and what we thought was Mourvèdre. Our goal was to create something unique and fun by blending them with our Syrah. But in 2020, thanks to the expertise of our vineyard consultant and friend, Lucie Morton, we uncovered a surprise: what we had believed to be Mourvèdre was actually Graciano!
Native to Spain’s Rioja region, Graciano produces a beautifully smooth and refreshing medium-bodied red wine.
